Older Marauders by mithua Older Marauders by mithua
Baaaaaaah! This picture didn't turn out as good as I hoped it would. But yeah, I decided to draw Marauders, becuase I haven't drawn them in ages, plus I've been RPing James...so I'm on a Marauder's spree right now.

I gave them BIG eyes! XP I like big eyes. And I like the backgruond colours too, although it does remind me of Teen Titans. XD

Hmm..Remus would be Raven. Peter would be Starfire, James would be Cyborg and Sirius would be Beast Boy. XP At least that's what I would think!

I'm glad you like it! I used Paint Shop Pro for this drawing. But I also sometimes use GIMP v.2. But I prefer Paint Shop Pro to GIMP.

Hmm, I guess it depends on if you go by personality or powers... I agree with James though, definately. I don't even know what GIMP is...o.o... Isn't it that plastic string ppl were making keychains with like 5-6 years ago? I still have a box of that on my shelf over there *glances*. I use PSP... mostly because I'm too lazy to learn Photoshop...-_-... Just as a suggestion/question, have you tried using layers? I mean, I color all my stuff with PSP too, just using the little line to line selection tool, the fill tool and the smear tool.

It might take a little while longer to select everything and put it on a new layer, but it makes the lines a lot clearer. Then you can add shading and stuff on each layer without messing up everything else. Lastly, if you use the brightness contrast tool on the pencil lines before you start coloring, you can make them darker before you start, that way you can see the features better. Just some suggestions on how to make stuff more noticable ^^.

:hug: You are a goddess Nami! In all honesty, I have no idea how to use layers at all :sweatdrop: And I was really thinking my digital colouring was primitive compard to everyone elses! But you've just made my day! I'll practice a little using your technique

And like you, I'm too lazy to learn Photoshop. XD

And GIMP is a reeeeeeeeeally old program, so I'm not suprised you haven't heard of it.

Thank you again Nami! :glomp:

You're welcome ^^. And as an after thought, use brightness and contrast layers for the shineys and shadows on the hair. I use them for clothing shadows too, particularly for white clothing.

Wah 0_0! crutial thing I forgot! The blend mode on your top layer with your origional lines on it (everything else goes under it) should be set to 'multiply.' I'm trying to take a screen shot now, so you know what I'm talking about ^^;
